Installation on DC15 in Filters

This thing is a real nut to install when you don't know what to do. Videos found online only show the DC14 replacement and it's not exactly the same process. - Remove the dust container. - Unlock and lower your hand. - Disconnect the hose, then pry its loop (it should not resist) behind the canister to release the rear clip on the filter. - Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry the clip up just enough to slide the back of the filter up just enough to release the clip. - Hold this area to prevent it from sliding down and locking into place. - Again, using a flathead screwdriver, slide the latches at 4:00 and 8:00 onto the canister. These are much more durable. Don't be afraid to damage them by bending them outwards, as the filter will have to be thrown away anyway (they attach to hard plastic tabs on the vacuum cleaner, and those tabs won't break). - At this point the canister slides up and out fairly easily and the new one snaps in nicely. I am 100% fit on my DC15.
