Review on Enhance Braking Efficiency with the Russell 639520 Speed Bleeder by Brian Krump

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worked once, now it's broken and stuck.

I thought it was the greatest invention when I first used it. By the looks of it the walls are paper thin and must have either shrunk or corroded in just 8 months of ownership. I used an 8mm wrench to open it 1/4 turn as directed. At 2 the valve broke, half of it was stuck in it. You can try the ORIGINAL Speed Bleeder brand, but not these guys. I contacted Edelbrock support and they told me to buy an extractor and try to remove it. These extractor kits are more than the cost of this product. BUYER BEWARE. Also MLEVIN on edelbrock.com told me to send him pictures and they will send me a replacement. That NEVER happened. Edelbrock screw. They were used on my FRONT Ford Focus SVT calipers. Rear ventilation is (so far) OK.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I will add later
