Cute but cheap: handbags & purses

My niece of 7 had her ears pierced for her birthday so I bought her earrings and thought it would be nice to "pack" her gift in a small handbag ". It absolutely fit the bill and she loved it. However, I can't imagine anyone over the age of seven being so happy. The design is flimsy, raw-edged, and so tiny that only half of the things I wanted to put in with the earrings (lipstick, hand sanitizer, breath mints, hair ties) are the things that every girl or guy carries in their purse has ) Will be concerned.
