It's made from 100% plastic and feels like it too. It has a base that a mirror snaps into. When open, the center primary mirror is surrounded by many lights, so you can dim them by pressing and holding the power button painted on the mirror. This is a good feature for bright lighting when a lighted vanity mirror is not available. There is a 2x printed faceted mirror and a 3x printed faceted glass but I doubt the authenticity of the magnification, I didn't notice much of a difference. The right panel is just an additional mirror (without lighting). The price is great, the flexibility is also great. It just seems like really "cheap quality" but I'm a bit of a snob about that. This is a very creative solution to a universal bathroom problem. Enjoy!
