The easiest way is not always the right one.
In theory this gold will give a very good connection and send/receive a clear signal and I believe it will when properly installed. However, the 5 crimping fingers are very weak and easily break during installation. As carefully as possible, I managed to snap two off and I'm not sure how well the other three connected to the external cable. but my signal is weak and noisy, unacceptable. So I will replace this connector with a solderable one. The easiest way is not always the right one. It's better to solder the right connection the first time.
