Review on Gabriel 82005 Heavy Classic Absorber by Bill Pool

My old shock absorbers may have been original from a '71 Ghia. Performance comparisons are therefore superfluous here. Obviously the old shocks are gone completely and these are MUCH better. It no longer drives like a trolley and was a cheap replacement. However, if you're planning on installing them on an old car yourself and don't have air tools (like me), you can pray to the German god of old air-cooled cars who won't come across anything unexpected. Like a rusted nut that defies all the laws of physics and would rather change the orbit of the entire planet than break free of the old jerk. But if everything goes according to plan, you won't have any problems acquiring them. Much luck.
