I like this mask. I'm not sure how waterproof it is as I haven't had the 'opportunity' to find out yet. Because it's windproof, I can hear but not feel the wind while cycling (in other words, it blocks the wind GREAT). You should get a skullcap (if you're wearing a helmet) or some kind of knitted hat if you're only wearing a mask, as it won't cover your head. Also, it only goes from the forehead to below the chin, so it doesn't cover the neck either. However, it provides excellent coverage for your ears and keeps you warm, and you can adjust the fit with a Velcro strap at the back so it's not too tight or loose. It only comes in one size and as I'm unsure of my head size (although I've been told it's larger than usual and I need an XL size with head pieces) it fits me. I think it can be suitable for any child from 10 years old.
