Bought for my husband for another just as a gift. He always used a homemade box with his race number on it. Nothing wrong with that. But he's been racing for years now and I thought he might want a little upgrade. It was affordable and all the reviews I read were positive. You were right. He has a 450 and holds the bike with no problems. He was afraid that the bike would fall to the ground if it was dirty/wet. But there were no problems with that. The lower shelf is also ideal for storing tools.
