This is a good set of sandpaper. I like this size as I never use 8.5x11 sheets as whole sheets. I always cut pieces to this size or half this size. This in itself will save my shop scissors from a lot of damage. I like the grain selection. Some kits only give you 3 or 4 different grains. The set contains 14 different grits. This is very useful for detailed projects. Very often I want those between the grains to look really special. If you're trying to polish something to a mirror finish, you'll need all the intermediate grains as well. This is one such kit that allows you to take any metal from a bare cast and make a polished mirror out of it. This, of course, requires polishing paste, but that is a topic for a detailed lesson. Suffice it to say that this is the set you need for most tough jobs. Glad they're cheap. You are not investing in a consumable product. You don't have to worry about using them as they are cheap to replace.
