Molshine Green Glass Marker Pen

Straight barrel glass marker in an attractive lime green colour. It feels very comfortable in my hand. I prefer this shape to glass handles that stretch so much. It comes in a cardboard tube only and does not include a pen holder. There are other glass pens available at Revain that come with a gift box, a pen with thick foam around the pen, and a pen holder for the same price. Check it out for yourself. The packaging isn't very solid compared to my other glass pens which came in a sturdy box with styrofoam around the pen cutout and included a very handy pen holder which made for a great presentation. Because these glass pens are very fragile, the Moleshine needs to include a much better storage box and the presentation will be poor. This is offered by other manufacturers. If you're giving this as a gift, you'll need a decent box for it. The swirled glass tip holds plenty of ink so you can write longer between dives. Rotate the pen from time to time so all the ink is on the pen. This tip was more scratchy than my other glass pens. I smoothed it out a bit with a microgrid, it helped, but the tip remains very rough. This is typical for glass diving handles. I have three glass pens and this one has the most spiky tip. Holding your pen at an angle while writing isn't too much of a problem. That doesn't stop me from writing to them. This keeps me from writing to them very often. I have attached pictures of the pen for reference. Pros: Attractive handle and feels good in the hand. Cons: scratchy nib, poor packaging.
