I bought these collars for a cross country trip with our two dogs, a black Schnoodle and an Irish Setter. I wanted to be seen picking her up at night, especially in hotel parking lots (when people have been driving all day, are tired and maybe not in the best shape). Holy cow. These collars are like a festive light show. I'm pretty sure you can see them from space. There are ten different light patterns - we used different patterns for each dog to distinguish them in the dark. They're so bright. Just a couple of points: when you trim the collar, it's a bit difficult to pin the cut end back onto the collar, but once it's there, it gets stuck quickly. I took a permanent marker and put the dogs' initials on the front of the collar so it would be easier to tell them apart when we put them on. I've also put the dog's name and our phone number on the back just in case (our dogs also wear regular collars and are microchipped, but you can never be too careful). It takes a few hours to charge and you can wear continuously for 3-4 hours before the collar dies and you need to charge it. We've been using them for about three weeks and so far so good. Be prepared that everyone will ask for collars. We couldn't go anywhere without people commenting on how cute they are and how bright they are. You will be asked where you bought it and how much you paid for it. You will be asked to demonstrate them as if you were a snake oil vendor at a state fair. Ever wanted to be the life of the party?
