These lights are great. We lost all our Christmas lights when moving and are starting over. I really wanted something that didn't use energy and had wires everywhere! You are perfect. The ONLY downside, I wish they were longer. They are long but I am selfish and want SUPER long lights. I live next to a forest and have many trees that I want to cover next year. It's great that I don't have to run power cords in all the places I want to do lighting. But next year I will definitely order more. In total we have 4 threads. During the day you want it to be in direct sun. At night. away from all lights. Even porch lights or other Christmas lights will be too bright. If they feel the light AT ALL, don't turn on. We had to move ours and position them away from the porch light and other Christmas lights. But that's a small consideration when planning. They were dead in the morning.
