This is not the first HEPA filter that I have bought. I have owned several Miele vacuums over the years and have almost always used genuine Miele filters and bags. One day I decided to save a few dollars and buy products from other manufacturers. It was a mistake then, and it turns out it was a mistake again today. Spending around $1,500 on a vacuum should be enough to spend over $30 on a new Miele HEPA filter now. overnight, but what's the use if the filter doesn't fit in my car? Now I have to get in my car and drive to Bed Bath and Great Beyond and buy a genuine Miele HEPA filter the old fashioned way - over the counter, in person. At least I have the pleasure of having a real person to yell at when things go wrong.
