Although not designed for use with a shop vacuum, it works wonders. I've tried many vacuum powered brush heads and they all fail quickly. This worked wonders together with the hose adapter; especially when it comes to bulk cleaning of dog hair. Depending on the suction power of your vacuum cleaner, you may need a hand hose attachment with which you can regulate the suction power. Otherwise, it may suck the lint so hard that the brush rotation slows down and there is not enough air at the point of contact to suck up the debris. I love it so much I order a backup so I have a spare if or when this one wears out. Finally an air powered vacuum brush that works!
