They offer excellent warmth and their shape fits well between the fingers and offers comfort. They hold up well, and while I wish they stayed warm a little longer, I think it's a compromise for a comfortable size without the added bulk. Overall I would say great if you just want to keep one finger warm and still want to be mobile. Unlike a heating pad or larger warm-up pad, you don't have to wrap it around your entire arm or hold it with your other hand. Despite being advertised both hot and cold, I found them to be MUCH MORE SUBSTANTIAL when frozen. too stiff to wrap around your finger. If you have more patience and focus than me, after a while they can reach a point where they are flexible enough to wrap around your finger and still be cold. But if I want to put ice on my finger, I need something I can take straight out of the freezer and use. It's not like this.
