I love this brush. I'm a guy with pretty long hair that I definitely can't style easily with my fingers. For years I shared my morning comb and styling comb with my wife and I never liked it. I decided I needed my own "man's" comb, so I wanted something woody and something that wouldn't be affected by tons of unwanted styling chemicals. So I took this boar bristle brush. The handle is comfortable and quite massive. It also has a clear finish and is polished so it's not rough. The bristles themselves are a bit more flexible than I expected. They definitely do the job, but I think being so used to plastic coated metal bristles I figured they would be more unforgiving. The brush takes moderate pressure to get the bristles into my hair instead of just rolling over my head. But after using it for a week or so I'm very happy with it. It stays reasonably clean and does its job well. I'm not sure I would buy this brush again if the need arose, but I would definitely consider it.
