The overhead shower arm with rain shower head is not stable.

The device is of good quality but when I installed it I discovered that it had a serious design flaw. If you live in the US with standard US bathroom construction methods and materials, this block is not for you. All parts fit and function normally except for the rain shower head. Bought a 12 inch radio. It has a very significant weight on a long shower head. It doesn't matter if you have a threaded screw in your shower rail to connect the shower rail to the wall, but this unit has a sliding nipple connection with a double seal as shown. I'm also showing a western style shower arm with a brass thread that I bought from the big store. This is what you need to keep the weight off. The shower mount of this item snaps onto this nipple connector on the shower screen and then you need to tighten two small hex head screws that just prevent it from popping out. It cannot bear the weight of a long shower head and a large rain shower head. Western shower arms are an externally threaded brass screw. This imported block is a shower screen nipple female thread coupler which I feel is better suited to concrete walls to Far Eastern bathroom construction standards. When the nipple is screwed into the wall fitting of the shower head, it does not provide a strong and stable connection that can support the entire weight of the shower holder and shower head. The shower head and arm move down and swing left to right and up to down. Two small screws hold it. In the end, sooner or later it will fall on your head. Understand that the rain shower head on this unit is a threaded connection on the same shower head with a nipple connector on the other end. Why not have a male thread connection on both ends? How much would it cost them to add another threaded connection on the more important side of the shower arm's wall connection? I removed the trim on the connecting shower arm and rain shower head and replaced it with a threaded arm and rain shower head from a big store for an additional cost. See picture of correct brass shower connector. Overall still cheaper than western style rain showers sold here in the US.
