Forget fabric softener, not cheap. This is business. Worth every penny. I used this in combination with their leave-in conditioner spray. My wigs weren't that bad at first, just a little tangled. It's important to follow the directions on the bottle as I've read that this can make your device sticky if you use too much. It tells you how many full caps to use based on the length of your device. After washing my gear, I spritzed 3-4 drops of leaves in conditioner and let them air dry. My wigs are pretty much the same as when I started - light, fluffy and flowy, and the smell is great. Totally non-intrusive, slightly clean aroma, like I've just washed my hair with regular shampoo. My devices don't feel weighed down or stiff. I was supposed to take before and after photos but I have another unit I want to wash and I will upload before and after photos. Overall I highly recommend this product as it works and the price is not unreasonable.
