Review on Pentel Arts Sign Pen Brush Tip by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for beginners in modern calligraphy/brush lettering!

I'm new to modern calligraphy and have done a lot of research on brush pens which are great in every way but it's especially easy for a beginner to get started and here are some of them. I've seen it recommended over and over again. These Pentel Sign Pen Brush (Flexible Point) are AWESOME pens! Give nice thin strokes up and noticeably thicker strokes down, the colors are nice and strong and the ink flows well. Another pen I've recommended many times is Tombow Fudenosuke Colors, which just came out. I bought them at the same time as these Pentels and did a little comparison today so I'm attaching it in case you're checking out these two guys too. If you're even a little familiar with the Tombow Fudenosuke, they usually come in a pack of 2 black pens, 1 hard nib and 1 soft nib - these pens are similar to the Fudenosuke soft nibs. So soft, but still "small" brush handle, which is a bit better to control for beginners. I hope that my review will be useful to someone!
