I really liked this dress and I wanted it to work. But like others have said, the shoulders drive FUCK. First I ordered my usual size 8. It sat perfectly on my chest, hugging my waist nicely. I pulled myself in with my shoulders, but I thought that any sudden movement might rip the seams; it was incredibly uncomfortable. As I love this dress and wanted to give it another try I ordered a size 10. The shoulders fit better - still quite uncomfortable and tighter than most dresses with sleeves but not as painful as a size 8. Unfortunately the bodice 10 was too big . big on me and I looked like I was carrying a bag. I think I could have this piece custom made, but this dress didn't look good enough to pay for alterations. So I sent them both back and cut my losses. I have a muscular build and broad shoulders - maybe it will suit you if your arms are folded differently. Too bad it has such a big design flaw because I really wanted to love it!
