Spyder does something else with their fur. They form a knitted shell that adheres to the fleece lining. As a result, the benefits of traditional soft, warm fleece are combined with a more durable and beautiful knit upper. It's really well done. I'm a big fan. I'm planning to buy a vest as well after trying it now. In terms of size, the Spyder stuff is full-size. The big one might be a bit big for me, but it's close. I'm 5'10" and 180 pounds. If you're in between, size down. All in all, this is an easy recommendation. Buy with confidence.
