Review on 🐠 DGZZI Mini Aquarium Filter Biochemical Sponge Water Cleaner with Air-driven Pump and 80cm Tube for Oxygenation and Freshwater Fish Tank Maintenance by Rebecca Bourassa

Cheaper than I expected

I bought this for a nano cylinder tank and it's bad enough, it's white (do you think we're in the UK?) and doesn't blend in with the background or the micro heater one, but it's all cheaply made. The suction cup and filter holder are all made of rubber. Not plastic, but rubber like a heater. That means you have to try really hard to get it looking "upright" in the tank because the air hose wants to twist it all over the place. Maybe away from the wall, maybe next to each other. And when you try to install the filter, its upper part comes off. This means that to clean or replace the airstone, the best way to remove it from the tank is to slide it up the side of the tank by pulling on the air hose. This works fine, but the top needs to be larger than the pressure seat. And it would be nice if they included an extra sponge. However, I'm sure it will do what it was designed to do. It's just a very cheap product. I'm not sure how long I'll keep it. Until Hygger makes it a little smaller than the current only sponge filter I guess.

  • Easy to use
Cons
