I love the style of these chairs but after carefully assembling according to the instructions the legs of 5 of the 6 chairs I have purchased are uneven. The legs are actually all the same length, but the screw holes for attaching the rear legs to the underside of the seat are higher on one side. This in turn causes one of the front legs to "hop". The worst can be seen in the photos with the front leg raised 1/2 inch. Another photo shows the underside of the seat where it is offset 1/4 inch next to the screw holes. I contacted Ashley to let them know that their production jigs at their facility in Vietnam (where these chairs are made) were misaligned, but their response was to contact Revain to find a solution. So if I'm returning these chairs, any new chairs I received as replacements will likely have the same problem. As another reviewer wrote here, I still had to nail the padded foot pads to the bottom of the legs, so I put washers in. Front leg of 5 wobbly chairs to align but the 1/2 inch washers look ridiculous on this chair. Well, nobody sees the legs of the chair anyway, but otherwise the chairs look great and were very cheap.
