Review on 🐱 3CatS Cat Toy and Scratcher with Jingle Balls on Track - Cardboard Cat Scratching Box by Jamie Hyatt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Several cat houses, queue up!

My cat team gives a big thumbs up. With 5 cats we go through a couple of cardboard claws every year and I haven't seen them roll out a new one in a long time. Of course, the catnip might have something to do with it. Usually the included catnip is old and unattractive and I have to use my stash to tempt it. The bag of catnip that came with this scraper was almost a fine powder and I didn't expect it to be any different so I already had our supply nearby. Didn't need it. It smelled very fresh. I liked that the powder melted into the grooves of the cardboard and not just lay on top. I wish I had more because sometimes I just don't feel like removing more dirt from my nipples after a particularly good workout. I have a very hard time finding this wide cardboard scratching post that fits my large Siamese and orange cat. so good. These boys need exercise the most and often only spend a minute or two with other scrapers because they can't rest on it. We had no issues with the scratching post moving across the floor when attacked by an 18-pound cat. Cue balls were a welcome addition. They jumped out pretty quickly, leading to a chase. Some might not like it since you can reach for the grapple to fish under the sofa, but I don't mind because it keeps the activity going and attracts them all. You can also add your own toys. If you've never bought a cardboard scraper, you should know that all pieces of cardboard break off when scratched. So if you're cleaning for company, don't put the scratching post down immediately after cleaning. Post it right before. Our cats have multiple scratching areas, so we often put the scratching post in after a few hours and take it out after a few days to make it "new" again. However, it was gratifying that, despite the great love for claws that this scratching post experienced that evening, there were fewer pieces of cardboard than usual. It could even be longer. The cats have already asked to add this model to their list for Santa's Paw. I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review. My opinion is my own. My cats don't know anything about currency or discounts, but they have a positive opinion of this scratcher.
