Very easy to install especially if you already have the Battery Tender patch cord from the battery. NOTE: You must use the provided polarity adapter when connecting the charger in this way, otherwise it will not work. I really like the LED indicator on the top of the device that tells me how much voltage is draining from my battery... more attention! This unit allows me to keep my iphone and airpods case fully charged while listening to sirius radio on long journeys...highly recommend this unit...just ordered another one for my second bike.
