Formaldehyde swimsuit

I bought the Medium/6 plaid print which was a bit roomy especially on the chest. I usually wear S or XS and should have ordered S. My height is 5 feet, 112 pounds, 35 inches, chest, waist, 29.5, hips, 33.5. I didn't like the print on the fabric, it looked cheap. Neoprene feel and stretch (swimwear I think) which I didn't expect or want. I knew it wouldn't be cotton, wool, or flannel, but I expected it to be smooth and shiny like satin. The print didn't fit in any seam, some parts looked patchwork or upside down and it hurts me to look at them up close. For some (like me) it might be gaudy or edgy so I think a belt for every size and shape would be a must to get the right fit. I wouldn't consider strapping my chicks with the one that comes with the kit. It is thin, impossible to hold and fix. Depending on your size, the long tail may stick out, so you'll need a MacGyver hack to keep them down. No belt loops or flimsy pieces of thread. The hip flounces didn't sit well with me, and the whimsical one-shoulder ruffle made up the top half of the bag. All these problems were nothing compared to stench! The inside of the bag and dress smelled like Jiffy Lube. If you've ever had cheap jeans or leggings with *that* smell, you know it. My nose smells of formaldehyde. In my experience, the smell can dissipate but never goes away. My daughter smelled it when she entered the room. I like a holiday without a youthful look and am disappointed that it didn't work for me.
