This is the best spatula in all categories. I've used various brands including Fresh Step and Arm and Hammer - I like to stick together and many are good at suppressing odors... It always smells like ammonia though. I decided it was time for a change and felt that... wow. I had my doubts. It doesn't look like clumpy junk. It has no fragrance to mask odors. He looks... different. Since using it (my cat, not me) I never smell ammonia again. I don't know how it works, but even "added" concealer scents from other brands can't compete and I don't have to sniff deodorant. Then clumping occurs. Way better than any other kitty litter I've tried (and again, I mean my cat, not me). Even scooping is less messy. I often notice small bits of dirt falling off when using a dustpan, but not in this case. And the clumps of urine stick together completely. Dust. Okay, let's be honest, is there such a thing as zero dust? I mean, if I shake anything hard enough, including myself, some of the dust will come off (and no, I've never shaken my cat). But at the same time practically dust-free. When I pour this into the top entry box my cat uses, very little dust is left on the sides. I had to run a wet finger around the entire perimeter to collect even the tiniest speck of dust. It's way better than the cloud of dust I get from boxing other brands. And it certainly makes emptying the box a much more enjoyable task. I pour a good 4 inches into the cat box. This allows my cat, who seems to have an oversized bladder, to urinate freely without it dripping onto the bottom of the box. Every morning I clean up what's left of my cat. I'll add more if needed. And I change my sheets every 3 weeks. I found I could live with this for 3 weeks as opposed to other brands that always had to be replaced after 2 weeks. I love this fountain pen so much that I signed up for the first time to receive it regularly. 5 Stars.
