This tablecloth is the equivalent of a plastic tablecloth that should be thrown away after a single use. There is no flannel lining and no edging, so to me it's like a piece of fabric, not a tablecloth. It's quite thin and I wouldn't risk heat damage to my table using this "tablecloth" on it. I use vinyl tablecloths on my table because they are practical and easy to maintain. Over the years I've purchased many better quality tablecloths than these, including some that cost less than $5. I sent it back and am very surprised that so many customers found it acceptable.
