Review on 2-Pack JIPIMON Waterproof Prong Collar Backup with Double-Ended Safety Clip for Dog Harness and Collar Connection by Christina Martin

After getting stressed when my dog's spiked collar was opened and seeing her storming down a busy street (thankfully her recall order is strong and she wasn't hurt), I immediately did went to buy a safety clip. I liked this option the most because it's durable and waterproof (easy to clean and less likely to stink). It attaches to the standard collar from the leash and is kept as a spare in case the collar becomes loose again. This happened again in the last month and the clamp did the job of keeping my 90 lb dog on a leash. The tightness of the clip is only checked when the collar with teeth breaks, otherwise it will sit loosely between the leash and the standard collar. The only downside I have found is that the clip is black and there is slight color transfer from the clip to my dog's light purple collar - a small price to pay for his safety but hopefully they will make other/lighter colors. I also realize that this clip may be too big for small dogs, but if you have a larger pup this clip is perfect!
