Everything is fine. I am a woman, I have long fingers but thin hands and small wrists. They fit well. I'm not sure I would call her a medium. Maybe small? Not sure what the glove standard is and if there is one, sizing wise. They do absolutely nothing for thermal protection. And I mean nothing. It's not listed in the description anyway, but they turn up when looking for heat resistant gloves. If you touch something very quickly you won't burn yourself, but I can't really lift something hot if that makes sense. However, I can't deduct stars for this because I took the risk of knowing that there is no safe-handling temperature listed. However, they are pretty well made and I will use them one way or another.
