Having used the Miele Polaris Galaxy cylinder vacuum for several years (I was originally drawn to the Miele brand for the noiselessness and quality of their vacuums) I was delighted to try the Miele Blizzard bagless canister . Vacuuming, especially since Blizzard eliminated the need to regularly purchase expensive replacement vacuum cleaner bags. The box contains the vacuum cleaner itself, a suction hose, a telescopic tube, an electric brush with electric drive and an instruction manual for the electric brush and a user manual. for general vacuum. The set also includes brush accessories: floor brush with rotating head (for hard floors), crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle and dusting brush with natural bristles. It offers the weighted suction benefits of an upright vacuum but with the agility and flexibility of a canister vacuum and hose system. The head has a footswitch to release the tube when held upright and a second footswitch to change the height of the hands. There are five height positions to choose from. Just as you can change the cutting height of a lawnmower, you can change the height of the brushes depending on the surface you are cleaning. The suction hose has an integrated handle with a switch for the electric brush. The handle provides grip and the switch is handy when you need to quickly turn the brush on and off, e.g. B. if the brush picks up something it shouldn't, like a dog toy or scarf. The canister itself is very manoeuvrable. thanks to its 360 degree wheels. In fact, my old vacuum tipped over easily, but I've never flipped this bin over, say, when maneuvering around a corner or over cables. The canister has a foot switch for retracting the power cord and a power switch. There's also a button to start the filter cleaning mode (more on that in a moment) and a 4-position dial to toggle between your desired suction power levels. The dirt filter canister is easily removed by lifting the integrated handle, and pressing the button on the filter opens a door through which dirt can be removed. The filter itself is made out of clear plastic so you can visually see how much dirt has accumulated so you know when to empty the bin. Dust and allergens) is self-cleaning: When a certain amount of accumulated dust is detected, it switches to self-cleaning mode, in which the vacuum cleaner is switched off for about 20 seconds while the filter is self-cleaning. There's also a button on the main tank that lets you manually start this filter cleaning mode - the vacuum clicks and buzzes as it cleans, then resumes normal vacuuming when it's done. If necessary, you can also clean the filter under water, so you don't have to buy an expensive replacement. In the course of use, I have found that the vacuum cleaner is very efficient. My old canister vacuum doesn't have a weighted nozzle, and after vacuuming the carpet with the old vacuum, I was able to pick up even more dirt with Blizzard, which has a 1200W motor that produces airflows (according to the manufacturer) at 62+ miles per hour . . However, the canister is heavier (the canister itself weighs just under 12lbs without the hose) so it can feel unwieldy when you need to carry it up and down stairs, although it does have a handy carrying handle. With a motorized head. With the vacuum on, it's about as loud as my old canister (72dB at about a meter), although with the motorized head off, the noise level drops to about 68dB. The different brush heads can be changed quickly and easily. There are built-in holders for the crevice tool and upholstery tool at the base of the canister, but no built-in holders for the dusting tool and floor brush tool, which I think makes finding those tools a bit tricky. The Miele Blizzard bagless vacuum cleaner is a significant improvement over my old vacuum cleaner. Because it has no pockets, I don't have to constantly buy expensive bags. The powerhead seems better at removing as much dirt as possible, especially from carpets. And despite the lack of a bag with an included HEPA filter and bin for easy dirt removal, the vacuum actually does a better job of allowing me to remove as much dirt, dust and allergens from my home as possible. In other words, it does what a vacuum cleaner is supposed to do and it does it very well. Thank you for reading.
