I needed a second desk for my laptop and was struggling to free up space on my PC tower desk. I didn't want anything too wide either, so this setup worked great. Since I assembled a lot of furniture, I always screwed and leveled everything and then tightened everything. This was no exception. All the bolts were assembled, part of the table taken and the four bolts secured. Then I started tightening all the screws from top to bottom. This helps with alignment and doesn't have to worry about tightening things up from underneath. Anyway, great table with very little texture so there will be no problem writing on top! 😀
