Rigid Plates for Large Volumes

I wasn't expecting much for the money. Given the cost and emphasis on compostability, I thought they were flimsy and cheap. No way. They're as tough as paper egg cartons and pretty durable. They can eat a lot, have good sized lips and hold their shape quite well. Eventually they start to sag a little on very liquid food, but it takes a while. If you don't put it on the counter within an hour or so, you're probably done with it long before you realize it's starting to warp with moisture. I'm not sure I would choose bowls from this, but it works well for plates. Best of all, since they don't have a plastic coating or anything, they don't break and even burn.

Pros
  • ๐ŸƒMULTIFUNCTIONAL LEAKPROOF MICROWAVE AND FREEZE SAFE, our plates are also oil and water resistant. Evaporation from condensation on the bottom is normal, but the panels will hold their shape at normal cooking temperatures. For prolonged use in hot weather, two panels can be used for a more secure fit and to reduce condensation. Free from plastics and wax derivatives, compostable in any domestic or industrial plant according to the regulations and standards.
