The first hole is too far from the end of the belt.

Filgate Vogue men's belt Genuine leather leisure belt arrived today and I tried it on straight away. Much to my surprise, the first belt buckle hole is six inches from the belt tip. This is a serious error by the manufacturer. I was able to tighten the belt but now I had too much extra belt around my waist. I just checked four other straps I have and they all have the first hole four inches from the top of the strap. This belt is genuine leather and I measured 1½ inches wide. It's wide but certainly normal for jeans. As shown in Revain's picture, the buckle is large, but also suitable for jeans or casual wear. This is an attractive well made belt. I regret that the manufacturer made a mistake by placing the first hole so far from the end of the strap.
