To install TPMS in my car from the factory would require the following fairing model which would cost over $5000 so it was really worth buying. Always keep an eye on your tire pressure. I had to charge it a few times because there wasn't enough sunlight to keep it charged in the winter. The batteries didn't last as long as I expected (less than a year), luckily I was able to find a shop that sold batteries cheaply so a little extra for the sanity. Update 5 June 2019 - So it's been a little over 2 years and the battery in the main unit is no longer holding a charge. Unless I plan to keep the device plugged into the van's outlet all the time, it's pretty much useless right now. I think it's holding up so long has been pretty good, and I've found that the price is actually $40 less than when I bought it! I'm not sure if there's a way to replace the battery, but somehow I don't think so. Although this device has never let me down, I will try another brand and see what happens.
