Update on what happened below: The seller confirmed their warranty and fixed the problem very quickly. Initial problem: The main cable broke when my 120 lb son was using it on his paddle board on a fairly calm day at the beach. The failure naturally occurred 5 days after returning the window. I'm surprised how badly it's fared given the reviews. My Dakine Leash is a few years old, yellowed from the sun and still holds my almost 200lbs with no problems.
