Diameter is correct, all edges are smooth. Each set of 4 sheets comes in a thin plastic bag with a grit label on the bag. What's disappointing is that the sandpaper itself has *no* grit on the back, and since the colors of the two grits are very similar, it's very easy to mix them up. So be sure to keep the papers in the original packaging or write on the back yourself. The website description lists green, burgundy and other colored papers, all the ones I received were just different shades of grey/blue. However, they work well.
