Fatal Flaw: Shoddy Zippers

This would be the perfect bag if it weren't for one fatal flaw: zippers. I was on a 3 week trip to Cambodia and used it as a daypack and as a carry on on the plane. On the third day of the trip, one of the zippers on the outside bag broke, leaving the bag open and not closing. After a week one of the zippers on the main compartment came loose and I couldn't put it back on. The zipper still worked, but I had to open and close it without tension. It's a really great bag - a good size (perfect for my 13" laptop and all my gear), lots of storage pockets, long strap and can be worn in a variety of configurations. If the flash could be improved I would have no complaints.

Pros
  • A total of 8 pockets. It is very light and the volume of the bag can accommodate a 14 inch laptop. It's big enough for a long trip.
Cons
  • Unsafe
