Review on 🐾 One for Pets Portable Dog Kennel (Shelter) - Cat Show House in Red/Cream/Tan by Kim Marshall

We recently moved and needed to take our three cats on a 12+ hour drive. Decided to get this so they could move/snuggle and space for a travel tray. I liked the multiple access holes. The cats seemed comfortable despite the ordeal. All in all it did the job. My biggest problems with using it in a car: 1) You have to align it. We used pillows and blankets to get him to stay upright in the bucket seat car. However, it tended to move forward or backward with changes in altitude. I didn't see any seat belt hooks either. 2) Two hammocks do not provide a large passageway between them for movement. We ended up stopping and pulling one out so the cats could move around more. When in a hammock it hung pretty low to the ground (12lb cat) and didn't leave much room for the cat underneath and there was definitely no room for a litter box. The hammock was used but it swayed a lot and a cat got sick so be careful you might be in for a surprise after all that movement. The base is water-resistant, but there are seams in the corners, so it's not easy to clean in a pinch. But since it's slippery, you should probably tape the pads down to keep them in place. 4) One time use? Since we don't want to move again in the foreseeable future and up to now, it is an expensive one-time purchase. As we had several "accidents", the smell is not fantastic and it was not easy to 100% clean the base. so in the closet. Perhaps in the future it could be used as a sun lounger on the terrace but for the moment it looks like a one-off deal.
