Recently moved so my cat no longer has her own litter box. It was in my closet at first, but that made swapping out and cleaning the box not as easy as it should be. Since my home office is her room now, I got this to help me clean up, but not an eyesore for non-cat people who might visit. It was a hassle to assemble, and "wood" or whatever it was was cheap. Don't over tighten the screws like I did and messed up the board a bit on a screw I was too aggressive with. It's in the box, so I'm the only one who can see it. My dad did most of the assembly and he said it was cheap but I wasn't expecting much anyway so here we go. I suggest putting it together in bright light as some of the holes are pretty small (to old eyes) and lined up horribly. For the people who say it controls smell, I'm not sure how they can't smell it. because I can definitely smell it and people who don't like cats say my office stinks of cat pee. Although I clean often and have Febreze, they still smell. And god help me if she poops that stench nearly knocked me out of a couple of calls just to hurry up and get her out. For what you pay for it I think it's ok. It's cute in the office (apart from the smell) and my cat had no problem using it. She had never used a closed tray so I was concerned but not concerned. I think she's upset that she can't make such a mess by throwing trash around, but she finds her way.
