This is a very handy little radio. I bought it mainly for emergencies but found it also good for the beach etc. Love the fact that it is solar powered. We never get enough sun in Florida. I really got it for hurricane season, I was without it during hurricane Irma, luckily for me my strength didn't diminish. It's also handy that you can charge your phone with it. You can use batteries or crank it up as well. But it is also charged by the sun. It has good sound and is about the size of a transistor radio from my childhood. A very good buy.
