I love it when manufacturers take care of tint. And this neutral shade is spot on. Not too warm, not cold. Great for seeing objects etc for what they really look like. The package came well wrapped, complete with battery, charger, flashlight, cable, instructions (see photo). Lies comfortably in the hand. Mine has four modes. I'm also a fan of the orange peel reflector, so I'm happy to see it doing its job of getting the beam onto objects well. The button isn't pressed, it just quietly steps in and out and changes modes. Remembers the last mode he was in. Hold for a few seconds and it will turn off. Pretty simple working method that's easy to remember. You can put a candle and light up the room/tent etc you are in. This is good light for getting to the bus at 4am and avoiding the foxes, coyotes, deer, etc that I sometimes encounter on my travels. Can illuminate the entire lane at this point, giving me peace of mind that no spooky creatures are on my way. I'm glad there is a water rating as sometimes in the rain, sleet or snow I need a flashlight. All in all a very good purchase and I look forward to adding it to my collection. A lamp that will be used a lot.
