There is a chemical smell coming from the hair dryer.
When we opened the packaging, the hair dryer had a strong chemical smell that was overpowering. The smell immediately gave me a headache. On the plus side, the dryer proved to be attractive, functional, and lightweight. I tried to solve the problem by leaving the hair dryer in the garage overnight, thinking the smell would dissipate, but it didn't. I then left the dryer outside in a shady spot for the next day and evening. The strong smell was still there the next morning. My family and I were concerned about this persistent bad smell and sent the product back.
