Metal and thin. When I pour hot coffee into a cup, the metal appears to be hotter than the coffee itself. It also causes the coffee to cool down relatively quickly. That's good for me, because I don't like to drink from a thick-walled mug. I drink black coffee so I don't have to wait long for the coffee to cool down.
