Review on Dakine Womens Frankie Backpack Azalea by Tammy Freeman

I really wanted a purple patterned backpack so I guess I'm lucky because it's an old design and will likely go up in price if its less is accessible . I've used this on 3 trips and on one of them it was my only bag for the week (I was able to wash where I was visiting). Here's what I put in: Back pocket (supposedly for a laptop) - half a dozen long/short sleeve shirts (unfolded, stacked and folded in half), socks, underwear, comb, toothbrush, medicine bottles, dental floss, razor, etc. , pajama bottoms, a pair of skinny jeans, curling iron, straightening iron Next bag - iPad in tablet sleeve, small knitting project, crossword Front pocket - pens, phone charger, headphones and the clear pocket you put in your airport security fluids, which includes a travel toothbrush, conditioner, Hairspray, tubes of glitter lip balm, concealer, face and hand lotion included. My sunglasses fit in one pocket and a large water bottle in the other pocket (great travel tip - take an empty bottle through security and fill it up at the fountain before boarding the plane). I didn't use the front. Zippered side pocket for everything, although in hindsight it would have been nice if my phone/iPad charger hadn't gotten tangled up with other stuff. I also didn't use the rear "security pocket". I tried to put my checkbook sized wallet in, but it was bulky and uncomfortable. In any case, this is not a comfortable bag. However, if I was traveling abroad I would definitely leave my passport there as pickpockets would not have access to it and would most likely reach into that front pocket. an electric blanket in the main pocket, with plenty of room for my crosswords, iPad, clear plastic bag for liquids, etc. I also have to say that I'm a petite woman and the bag doesn't seem too bulky on my small frame. All in all a great bag!
