Review on 💡 Wagan EL2610 Gray 400W Pro Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter: Reliable Portable Power Solution by Steven Lane

I connected the Wagan 400W inverter to the 12V battery terminals using 6ft 6AWG copper wire. Follow the instructions for installation and operation. The inverter worked great with a phone charger plugged into the USB port. I unplugged the USB charger and then plugged a 75W load into one of the outlets. Worked as usual. After about 3 minutes smoke and burning inside the inverter. Disconnected from the power grid as soon as possible. Let the inverter cool down and try again. The low voltage alarm now stays on regardless of the source (also tried the 12v plug and a different battery) and doesn't work. After carefully studying the reviews of other Wagan products, I realized that my experience is not unique. Unfortunately, the Wagan products appear to be well designed with extremely competitive features and prices.
