Use for SPF, not so much for moisturizing

The directions say to reapply at least every two hours, but I feel like I have to repeat every hour. I've been suffering from severely chapped lips lately so I turned to Aquaphor as they are known for moisturizing lip balms. It had SPF, which was a plus. But I have to say it didn't help my lips. I finally switched to the revlon peeling balm, which worked better for me. I will probably continue to use this balm as my lips are back to normal due to the SPF. I can't comment on how effective it is in that sense as I've never had sunburnt lips, but any SPF should be better than none, right? Tastes like sunscreen. I don't lick my lips at all, so it's not a big problem for me. I just want it to come in the form of a stick. I'm not used to applying from a tube like this.
