Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Stansport 2-Liter "Red Wall" Hydration Backpack - Black/Gray by Bret Wong

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent "budget model " hydration pack

Update: After a dozen uses, the fabric started to open in several places as mentioned in another review. There is now a significant hole in the bottom of my backpack's main pocket. I can mend it but the quality of the material is definitely an issue with this backpack (looks like loosely woven polyester). One of my shoulder straps is also fraying, although it's only cosmetic damage as there's a stronger fabric that can take the strain. Overall I still give this package 4 stars as it performs well and costs half the price of comparable packages. First review: I bought this to use for mountain biking and it worked really well for me. It has 2 straps that fix it very securely while driving. In addition to the water pocket, it has a fairly large pocket and a small one on the outside. I can pack a spare bike tube, an apple, a plastic sandwich box, a granola bar, a wallet, keys, a cell phone, and a map without stuffing everything inside. The only drawback for me is the relatively low water consumption. It's more of a trickle compared to the flow of water you get when you squeeze the bottle. This is my first hydration pack however and I expect the flow to be similar to other packs so I won't count that.
