I've been using the LastBus 170 reversing camera for about a week now and I'm very happy with it. This is my second backup camera on my 2012 Nissan Frontier pickup. The first from another manufacturer, purchased from Costco, had a separate, freestanding, dedicated screen that was cumbersome on the dash next to my phone, and the connecting cables broke several times. Also, the image quality on the old device was mediocre at best. The LastBus 170 uses my iPhone, which I usually mount on the dash so I don't have to mess with two separate screens. At first I thought that using a Wi-Fi connection when backing up would take too long or pose a problem. But it's not a problem. Wi-Fi is blocked immediately between the device and my phone, so the latency is about the same as what I get on my factory screen on my wife's 2019 Honda Odyssey. The picture quality on the LASTBUS 170 is good and only limited by the screen size of the smartphone. When installing the block, I had a few questions. I'm not good at wiring of any kind. But after a few emails from customer service I was done. For those of us with old cars and jealous rear-view cameras, the LASTBUS 170 is a nice upgrade for your car.
