BEWARE, YOU CAN BE ON THE PHONE WITHIN 2 HOURS WITH TECHNICAL SUPPORT! . I didn't connect it to my computer/router at the time, but I eventually did. This brought me to the Time Warner activation page. I tried entering my zip code and phone number but it said they didn't exist. I tried entering my order number and he said he couldn't edit it. So I started calling time support which started at the T1 helpdesk. It took a good hour and the call hung up before they were willing to transfer me to T2 US tech support. Then after a while I was transferred to T3. There was a lot of waiting, but the person eventually figured out that my modem wasn't propagating properly and had to climb another level to find out. So after almost 2 hours of troubleshooting I was finally referred to the support team. Expert Friendly Technical Support Level T4. He said my modem's mac address was already registered by another Time Warner customer and they hadn't unregistered it. And that only tech support of his level could do that. So he worked his magic and eventually got it working. The device has been working fine for 3 days but man. went through customer service hell to get it working. It's not something you want to deal with after a big move when you're tired and just want to get online to relax a bit.
